Our Mission

Growing intentionally, From the Ground Up

At Dogtown Acres, every seed we tuck into the soil is a promise to raise food with integrity, to care for our land as a living neighbor, and to keep our tables open to the community that grows alongside us.

Who We Are

We’re a small farm with helping hands, muddy boots, and big hopes: that fresh, thoughtfully grown food can restore trust, nourish families, and leave our corner of the world a little better than we found it.

We didn’t set out to become a big operation. We set out to grow food we’d be proud to put on our own table and share with our neighbors. That means choosing slower, more intentional methods—building healthy soil, rotating crops thoughtfully, and giving plants the time and space they need to thrive.

On any given day you’ll find us caring for the hens, checking on seedlings, or simply enjoying the company of the animals we raise. You might also find a dog or two trotting alongside—this is Dogtown, after all. The farm is our hobby, but it’s also our home, and that shapes every decision we make.

Our Promise to You

When you choose Dogtown Acres, you’re choosing food raised by people you can look in the eye. We promise to grow with care, harvest at peak flavor, and handle every step with respect for your health, our animals, and our land. If something isn’t up to the standard we expect for our own family, it doesn’t leave the farm. It’s that simple. We do not use chemicals, or injections of any kind! Animals are fed non-GMO feed and treats consisting of watermelon, cucumbers, and meal worms!

Come Grow With Us

We’d love for you to be part of the Dogtown Acres story—whether that means visiting the farm, picking up a weekly share, or simply reaching out to say hello and ask a few questions.
